Cummins Falls

They say that ‘Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder’, and I think beauty is all around us you just have to see it. So for the first day of my challenge I took advantage of the fact that my best friend and I had plans to go to Cummins Falls.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, the sun shining, the air warm. I feel like anyone should always take advantage of those days. Cummins has always been one of my favorite places to hike. It’s beautiful and there’s a lot of hiking right beside and in the water until you reach the actual waterfall. The best part to me is enjoying the hike up there, experiencing nature, the water in between your Chacos, and the sun shining on your back. I advise if you have never been to Cummins Falls in Cookeville, TN, you should take a trip there sometime.

So today, I’m thankful for nature’s beauty and friendships that never die even when you don’t see each other for months at a time.

  1. Waterfalls is probably my favourite item in nature. The sight, the sound, the feeling of the mist on your skin. Everything in the body seems to come alive. And how wonderful to have this time with your friend.

I have given your blog a shout out on my latest post. Hope to bring new readers your way. No obligation whatsoever to pay forward.

Hope you are having a GREAT summer Shelby! πŸ™‚
